'Irish Travellers' is the polite term, though Romany gypsies call them by a less polite name. The tent is called a 'bender', and is modelled on the Romany 'tan'.

Great post war vintage.They are not believed to be Roma or Drom 'gypies' having working seasonally and travelled in Ireland for centuries , more recently England.
