The Desert Warrior was North American B-25C, s/n 41-12860, that was assigned to the 81st BS, 12th BG, 9th AF. She took part in operations from El Alamein across Africa through Sicily. The ship flew 73 combat missions, dropped over 83 tons of bombs, shot down 3 enemy fighters, and accrued 191 combat hours. To reclamation June 21, 1946.

Is it possible to find the names of these men?

Thank you. My dad is 97, and it wasn't until the last few years that he has talked about his 5 yrs in the Pacific (1940-45). I've been trying to find information about the Army Air Core, 823rd bomb squadron. Do you know if you have any other photos or info of the 823rd bomb squadron, 38th bomb group? Anything with names? I've been looking on the Sunsetters site also, but havent found anything yet.
