    These are fantastic photos of a lost neighborhood in Boston. One note however, MBTA stands for and has always stood for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Prior to 1964 Boston's transit system was known as the MTA: Metropolitan Transit Authority. JFB119

    Yes there was people and cars on both sides of the tracks There was a pedestrian bridge but they closed that bridge off years later
