No John Hanna in the undertaking business in either 1901 or 1911. Similarly, no John Cooper in the gentlemens' outfitters business.

Moore is there in 1901, with a draper next door. Also Bailie the house painter.

A couple of safety bicycles in evidence, so post 1880.

Thus not even slightly narrowing the 1880 to 1900 range we started with.

The one in Co. Dublin. Apparently although it's now on Main Street (Streetview) it has moved around a bit: "In 1865 there was a huge controversy over whether or not the cross should be removed completely. Instead the cross was moved and a new base was built for it. Having been at a few locations, the cross is now on Main Street. The present day cross is smaller with parts having been removed from it."

That's a milestone beside it giving distances to Dublin and Kingstown (1 7/8 miles? Sounds about right.)

Sharon Corbet The modern Central Café is at #42, which confirms that the cross in this shot is in the position marked in the OSI 25". Temple Road has been widened since, and the shops labelled Magrath as well as Marsden in the Lawrence and this Mason from a different date are gone now.

Marie Magrath was a Retired Draper in 1901.

Quite a long exposure by the looks of it. Another auction poster on the church gate. The church has a sort of C of I look about it, which might help narrowing the search down.

I've done a quick streetview of all the Blackall locations form the census and there's nothing like this. It seems to be a church attached to an ecclesiastical ruin of some sort - maybe an abbey or maybe just an older church.
