    This is the front end of a C-47. The woman has inserted the rivit and is controlling the rivit gun. The man is holding a "T" bucking bar against the end of the rivit so it will flare and draw the aluminum sheets together. Styaged, but nice.

    Great lighting to highlight just the subject closely.. But I recall from other shots of the era, that this was how it was done

    I didn't know there was transparency film in 1942. I agree with ChrisRudge and Eric in SF. This is great lighting. I had one flight in a C47. Was this the one?

    Kodachrome came out in 1935. There were earlier, larger format color reversal films prior to Kodachrome.
