looks like this Sherman tank has been knocked out ? red rusty looking turret, suggest it was hit, & then burnt up... I'd like to see more personal photos of the war in Italy...either of german, Canadian, British, Americans soldiers/ forces etc,

John, it was indeed KOd, by a German panzerfaust. It was then burnt as it couldn't be recovered. It was a New Zealand Sherman.
