    The hand signals given by the Tank Commander and repeated by the Sponson Gunner are very important in controlling the movement of the tank units of the era. Even if all tanks in the unit had voice radio (I'm not sure if they did at this point), the reliability of the sets - when mounted in a shaking, bumping vehicle - was very low.

    Pouletchalet, if you look at the larger size (All Sizes), you'll see "KODAK" on the right edge of the transparency. This is a 4x5" transparency, a format still used today. www.calumetphoto.com/1/3/4x5-transparency
