    The gate is today home to the "Karl-Valentin-Museum" (or Musäum, as it is intentionally misspelled). Karl Valentin was the stage name of German comedian Valentin Ludwig Fey who was active in the first half of the 20th century (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Valentin).
