Unless the "Roche's Royal Hotel" had specific and confirmed opening/closing dates, I don't suppose we'll be able to definitively refine the date range by much. Although the fashions would seem to suggest that we haven't strayed much into the 20th century here....

    I had a look at the Guy's and Slater's directories yesterday, and they weren't any help with dates. The Roche family operated a hotel in Glengariff from before the start of the range (at least early 1860s) until after the end of the range (into 1920s). So the sign on the back of the tourist car doesn't help.
