    There was also a fire tower in Mountain Grove. Right up to the late 50's - early 60's. I wonder if there are shots of it around?

    Picture was taken in the early 1950’s around the time the lodge was owned and operated by Percy and Val Nowell and Eric and Eleanor Nowell. It was then sold to Ward Bishop who later sold it to Werner and Inge Goerg.

    My parents, Werner and Inge Goerg, bought Greenfield Lodge in 1967. They severed off the campground and cottages portion to sell and they kept the lodge portion.
