Still flying and in operation for Avior Airlines (as YV1576) in Venezuela, and flying throughout Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean almost 25 years after this photo was taken. Delivered new to Southwest Airlines (SWA) in November 1979 as N61SW (c/n 21970/613). The aircraft would next enter operation briefly with Royal Air as C-FRYL in March 2001, before flying in Canada 3000 Airlines service (same registration) in April 2001. In November 2002, Amtec Corporation would hold the aircraft in storage as N324CA. The aircraft would return to airline service as YV-643C for Avior Airlines in July 2003. Subsequently, the aircraft would be re-registered as YV-234T in July 2006, and most recently as YV1576. Here's the same 737 landing at Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA / TNCA) in September 2010.

This particular aircraft (USAF CT-43A, 73-1149, c/n 20696/347) would crash on approach to Dubrovnik, Croatia on April 3, 1996, with the loss of all aboard, including US Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown.
