A derivative of the 737, the Boeing P-8 Poseidon, would ultimately selected for role. As for this particular aircraft, built as a Boeing Business Jet (737-8EV BBJ2), it would be taken up as a VIP aircraft by the Government of Belarus (EW-001PA) in December 2003.

PSA Boeing 737-214 (c/n 20155/180), N382PS, PSA Fleet No. 305, delivered to PSA on June 18, 1969. She would be acquired by Brazilian airline VASP (re-registered as PP-SMQ) on May 16, 1974, and would continue in operation with VASP until September 2004, when she reached her maximum number of cycles and was impounded at Congonhas-São Paulo Airport (CGH / SBSP).
