See the motor scooter (noted above) in this picture. It is possibly an early Salsbury, an American brand. Motor scooters have always been popular at airports. They were a cheap and practical way to get around a large facility. Cushmans, made in Nebraska, were still in use around American airports and air bases long after the Salsburys were out of production. www.flickr.com/photos/howard33/312427331/in/set-721575944...
