See www.findagrave.com/memorial/45335129/margaret-ida-dahms "Margaret Ida Wendlund and Leonard A. Dahms were married February 8, 1942 in Blue Hill, Nebraska. She and her husband made their home in Blue Hill, Nebraska where she raised large gardens and had chickens. She cleaned and sold the chickens to the workers of the Ammunition Depot at Hastings. In 1960, they moved back to Arapahoe, Nebraska. They bought the Dairy Queen in Arapahoe, Nebraska and renamed it Dahms Drive-In. She continued to run it for more than 40 years." The sign was still there in 2012. See Streetview 2012

"The oldest drive-in in Weather-ford is Garland’s Dairy Boy. They feature a "bulldog burger,” bacon cheeseburger, and eight other charbroiled burgers. For real hungry customers, dinners are available that range up to $3.95 for a shrimp dinner. They are also well-known for their shakes, sundaes, and malts."
