Is this the same woman as in hdl.loc.gov/loc.pnp/cph.3b10975 ? If so, she is Margaret Vale (Mrs. George Howe), niece of Pres. Wilson.

Mrs. Margaret Howe holds the emblem representing the Oregon delegation at a women's suffrage parade in 1913 in Washington DC. At this march/ parade, the women held banners representing states that already had women's suffrage. Oregon women obtained the right to vote in 1912.
  • Anne (LOC P&P) said:
magpiejunkin: Thanks for pointing us to the suffrage parade here. We'll include this information about the event next time we update our descriptions.
