DUBLIN GRAND PRIX
Following on the recent Le Mans (France) Twenty four Hours Reliability Grand Prix comes the results of the Dublin Grand Prix held on Friday and Saturday last. The first days race was held for Standard Sports Cars under 1500 c.c., resulting in a win for Ivanowsky driving an 'Alfa Romeo' at' an average speed of 75.03 miles an hour. The results of Saturday's racing for Standard Sports cars, capacity unlimited, was First and Grand Prix, Ivanowsky (Alfa Romeo) at an average speed of 76.40 miles per hour. The second, third, fourth, fifth, and eighth positions were filled by 'Bentley' cars and the sixth by an 'Alfa Romeo,' and all these including the winner used 'Shell' Oil and Spirit. The distance in each case was 301 miles, and cars and drivers of all nations competed. The Grand Prix was awarded for the fastest time for both days.
