William Gibbs McAdoo, secretary of the treasury under Woodrow Wilson, and his second wife, Eleanor Randolph Wilson, daughter of the President. They got married on 7 May 1914.

There is a bit of a local connection here as Secretary McAdoo's boss and Father-in-Law, Woodrow Wilson visited Carlisle in Cumbria UK where his mother was born. The house of her birth still exits in Warwick Street and sports a blue plaque which can be seen at: www.flickr.com/search/groups/?q=woodrow%20wilson&w=10...
