Psychic Photography

As I'm sure you already know, this image is a reproduction of a paper negative taken by W. Fox Talbot at Lacock Abbey in August 1835. It has often been reproduced in photographic texts and is generally accepted as the oldest surviving photographic negative. As far as I know it has never been in any way associated with psychic photography.

Back in those days, all we had was a hammer. In later years we'd drive "screws" into the solid air with one of those newfangled "screwdrivers". And hoo-eeey, once those crank drills came out, we were putting holes in the air like nobody's business. But at the time, this was state-of-the-art.
