Cierto es la Fuente del Salto del Agua en Arcos de Belén y San Juan de Letrán. Los arcos del acueducto iniciaban en la falda del lado norte del Chapultepetl daban un giro para salir por Avenida Chapultepec donde había una fuente monumental que es todo lo que queda. Observe que el frente de la fuente ostenta el Escudo de Armas de los Reyes Católicos (Fernando de Aragón e Isabel de Castilla), Identificado por el águila monocéfala de San Juan. Dentro del escudo no aparecen los cuarteles de los cuatro Reynos, Castilla, León, Navarra y Aragón. En su lugar aparecen, en la mitad inferior, dos arcadas de acueductos por las cuales mana agua. Las dos columanas helicoidales representan las Columnas de Hércules presentes en otros Escudos de Armas del Imperio Español. Lo mas probable que esto indique es que el acueducto es propiedad de la Corona de España.
