    On those lights, I see both kinds - danglers near and globes far. So I think this is in the period 1920-23.

    The building was huge, built c. 1900 according to the DIA. You can see the dome on the right in this Eason photo in the nli archive. Another angle:

    The fortified tower of the Dublin Bread Company — a tearoom, cafe and meeting place popular with chess players — was used by rebels to return fire to snipers on the roof of Trinity. It was but a shell by Friday of the Rebellion, and was never reconstructed. A bank was built in its place.

    The DBC is now open. The streetlights are still the tall globe ones. Early 1900s. Construction underway beside Clerys - the DIA says:

    Date: 1902
    Nature: Enlargement of premises, comprising reconstruction of Imperial Hotel (Nos. 21 & 22) lately purchased by Clery & Co. Wrought iron canopy over main entrance of hotel with name 'cleverly interwoven', by Fagan & Son

    Clerys here has 9 urns on the parapet, if you megazoom this 1910-16 Eason, you can see the parapet has been extended the length of the Imperial Hotel:

    There's a huge poster in the window of John Wallis & Sons for the Cork Exhibition. Could it have been this Exhibition in 1902/1903?
