There is a similar looking thing in Donegal, used as a "fowlhouse". See No. 6 at - www.carrowkeel.com/sites/donegal/malin-more.html

The title in the catalogue is Megalithic Tomb, Burren - 3 negs, Killinagh, Co. Cavan.

Which leads me to this page at megalithicireland: Burren, Cavan. Calf House, Portal Tomb

    Tombview

It has a minimal wikipedia page which says it is from the Neolithic, so the date is no earlier than 3000 BCE.

It is in Cavan Burren Park, with marked trails and an interpretive centre, about 50 mins drive from Sligo or Carrick-on-Shannon.

For once the modern idea of a tourist attraction matches the 1940s Irish Tourist Association view.

This is Birkenmoor (Gemeinde Schwedeneck) near Gettorf, see this page for photos, coordinates, and a map. Geltorf is quite a bit further to the south.
