On the Grafton to Dalmorton Road

According to Google maps, this road is the 'Old Glen Innes Road', and that is the Boyd River. Once the main highway, it is now probably much the same as in the picture. Strangely there is only one place near Dalmorton which fits this arrangement of river, road, bridge and hills. We are north of the bridge looking south. - maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&... I wonder if that is the right place?

trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/163788163 - the Sydney Mail, 19th December, 1896...the sketch titled 'On the Grafton-Dalmorton Road' that appears in this 'Picturesque New South Wales' montage looks to have been drawn from this pic...it's not a perfect match, so it's impossible to be certain...but I suspect the differences are due to artistic license and the nature of sketching vs photography. Per the accompanying note, the pics that appeared in the 'Picturesque New South Wales' montage were drawn from Kerry & Co photos...
