On December 6, 1917, Bagley conned his ship out of Brest harbor. At about 1621 that afternoon, the watch spied a torpedo wake. The destroyer maneuvered to avoid the torpedo, but in vain. It struck her starboard side and pierced her fuel oil tank. Though Bagley and his crew worked frantically to save the ship, she went down within eight minutes carrying 64 crewmen with her. Bagley and 37 others made it into the icy water in boats and on rafts, and, thanks to the humanitarian gesture by Kapitänleutnant Hans Rose, the U-boat commander who radioed their location to Queenstown, they were all picked up by the 8th. Bagley earned the Navy Distinguished Service Medal for his part in handling the situation."

But the CPI picture doesn’t match the location shown in www.nzhistory.net.nz/media/photo/zeppelin-wreck, with a picture of the June 16/17, 1917 wreck of L48. SL11 crashed at Cuffley, Hertfordshire,. Night of 2/3 September 1916 — first success in bringing a Zeppelin down. L31 -- crashed and landed on an oak tree, near Potters Bar. 2 October 1916. There is no oak tree in this picture. L32 was brought down on September 24, 1916 near Snail’s Farm, South Green, Great Burstead, Essex. Came down in flames. This seems to show the shape of the craft more than one burned would do. See twitter.com/adie1412/status/569584798643183617 for a photo that purports to be of L32. L33 landed in Little Wigborough, Essex, near New Hall Farm. September 24, 1916. just noticed that the structural parts of the zeppelin are lying across the road at right center. Impressively large machine.

Good detective work swanq, and thanks B-59 for screenshot to confirm it. We will add Little Wigborough, Essex and L-33 to the catalog record. I recently came across a British brochure which said one of the aid organizations (sorry, I can't remember which one) was selling pieces of a crashed Zeppelin to raise money. I wonder if any of this one was sold off. The Imperial War Museum has three pieces of the L33 in their collection; a control panel, a piece of metal bent into a napkin ring, and a very ornate ashtray cast from salvaged metal.
