The photo would seem to have been taken from the Roscommon side of the river looking upstream but the power station is in Longford. Post bailey bridge days too, I notice.

The 1860 Bank of Ireland building at right with the arches was "renovated" in 1901, although it looks like a complete rebuild to me.
