I have some different details Gary Most sources claim EC-BBV was registered 28 May 1966. Was 24 June the delivery date?? The Oct 1973 date must be wrong since there is one photo of the aircraft taken at Gran Canarias in Jan 1975. I don't know when it was actually wfu, but it has been consistently stated to have been transferred to the Spanish AF in 1979 as spare parts for their Convair 440 fleet. Stig

The date stated (3 Oct 1969) is completely wrong! Since the nose probe is still visible this must be very early in its career and most likely very close to the ff date listed by Gary above. Stig

Stig Jarlevik Yes, a wrong date...maybe Convair stamped it on the sleeve to indicate something besides the date the photo was taken?
