Hawaiian Airlines' first Convair 340 (CV-340-36) reg. N5506K (c/n 24), Fleet No. 24, delivered to Hawaiian on November 5, 1952. The aircraft was subsequently re-engined with Allison 501 (Allison T56) turboprops and converted to CV 580 configuration. It has had a series of operators over the decades, and the most current information (July 2015) shows it still in operation with Air Tribe in Mexico as XA-UPL.
