This He-162 sported the nose-art "Nervenklau" (Nerve Stealer) as it was considered a twitchy, difficult aircraft to fly. The Wolf Head was the insignia of I. Gruppe of Fighter Wing 1 (JG-1).

The canopy to a British Aerospace Hawk (or variant). The forward side is to the right side of the frame. The "arrow" pattern on the canopy is formed by detonation cord ("det cord") that would be used to shatter the canopy just prior to ejection.
