The DIA says the fusiliers memorial id by Kathleen Shaw, 1906.

The Carberry memorial is at Findagrave, and a clearer pic says the sculptor is named TH Denanny (1901 census link)

Oh ! I have a photo (close up !) of the statue to the fusilier from 2011, it's in my Ireland 2011 folder: I'll post a link when I get to my pc ..later

I can't say the handbill is successful in its effort to denigrate the council: one statue stands to this day in a prominent place in a public park, the other is in a graveyard.

THe ariel view shows the main line: www.google.ie/maps/place/Armagh,+UK/@54.3562801,-6.662528... Any southern spur has been built over now.

derangedlemur Wikipedia mentions the Castleblayney, Keady & Armagh line, which closed in 1957, and went via Irish Street Halt and Milford.

Actually, Lonsdale road may have been the original link between the east and west parts of the line, in which case there'd be a view form the south there as well. I think Irish street is more likely though - it looks like a single line.

derangedlemur The direction through the station looks north-south enough to me, to be honest. The chimney is visible in the right here. And you can just make out the station roof just to the right of the chimney in the photo above.
