Looks like the sheila on the balcony did not want her photograph taken with the bloke next to her. VP or VJ?? The title of the photograph at the Persistent URL is: "Soldiers scaling a wall on VJ Day in Brisbane, 1945" VJ Day meaning Victory over Japan Day. Most definitely it was VJ Day. Never called anything else for decades, until the unfortunate intervention of political correctness and the fashion for rewriting history. . Navy "soldiers"? When did "sailor" become" unacceptable to the loony left?
