This seems to be taken on the Vesey street side of St. Paul's Chapel in lower Manhattan, looking from Broadway west to what is now the World Trade Center site. Until the 30's, there was a building on the west side of the lot, along Church Street, which was the Parish House. That is the building in the back of the picture, and is also pictured here, in the lower right hand corner: 1.bp.blogspot.com/-jbqlV2qgDEA/TeZQd-i5unI/AAAAAAAAIvk/vh... St.Paul's Chapel has been renovated a number of times. From this picture, it looks like the rough brick walls on the building were covered in 1915 with stucco.
