This picture reminds me of an old Movie--My Fair Lady, the buzz and activity in a morning market and noise is also heard through this crowded street

I grew up in Australia, where many Dutch families had wall hangings of scenes like this. An awesome moment of reminiscence and emotion when I thought of my aunty serving tea and bikkies on a Sunday afternoon, with the wall hanging above us, Delft ornaments on the bookcase, and a black vinyl of Dutch organ music playing.

Yangan Cheese Factory exhibit at an agricultural show, 1894

Yangan Cheese Factory It gives us pleasure to announce that the well-known Yongan cheese factory, which has been conducted by the Silverwood Dairy Factory So., has been purchased by Mr- William Smith, of Yangan. Mr. Smith's practical knowledge and ability in the manufacture of high-class cheese is well-known, and to this, he has added the valuable experience gained during a recent trip to Great Britain and France. The result of this trip will make for even wider fame for Yangan cheese, in as much as Mr. Smith purchased tile special appliances and machinery necessary to manufacture several well-known Continental high-class kinds of cheese that have so far not been placed on the Australian market, except at exceptionally high and to most people prohibitive prices. The factory will be entirely under Mr. Smith's personal management, and we have no doubt the proprietor will receive that support from local' "milk and cream suppliers that has made the Yangan product so popular throughout the State.
