Coney Isl'd [i.e., Island] -- Ballyhoo artist at work (LOC)

the "ballyhoo artist" is the fellow in the Charlie Chaplin outift balancing his cane on his hat, presumably to attract customers to the Chaplin movies being shown there that day. A commentator on a forum devoted to Coney Island has described the film on the banners, including the release dates, all from March or April, 1915. www.coneyisland.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1247857344 Another notes that the ticket guy at the far right of the picture is selling tickets to Feucht's Drop-the-Dip roller coaster on the south side of the Bowery at about 15th.
