I find it amazing that the women wore the restricting white dresses to go bushwalking. Granted that women of that era knew no other way but this way, I admire them!

Rodriguez Pass is a walking track linking the base of Govetts Leap to the base of Evans Lookout. Named after Tomas Ramon Rodriquez (1869-1929) born in Santo Domingo, he promoted the walking track which bears his name. Rodriquez was station master for Blackheath in 1890 also a hotel proprietor and real estate agent and councillor on the Blue Mountains Shire Council 1917-1919. Total cost of the track was 270 pounds of which the government provided a 50% subsidy; it was completed on 21st April 1900. Ref. Blue Mountains Geographical Dictionary, Brian Fox

And you have to admire the photographers who schlepped the massive timber cameras, brass lenses, tripods and stacks of glass plates in there and back - no camera phone in the back pocket for them.

A marvelous photograph of nature at its most glorious!!!
