J&K Walsh at #11 is still there in Streetview. The café was Guiney's as of 2009.

There's an alternative view - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000594720 . Signs in the windows seem to promote Buy Irish Week sponsored by the Irish Press.

The signs by the open door to #8 are for Charles S. Quinlan, solicitor. Who seemingly commissioned other images from Poole. Like this one of the aftermath of a fire. Which may have been business/client related.

Niall McAuley - I was in J&k Walsh public house not long before it closed, Mr.Walsh was blind, he also lived alone on the premises, he knew every inch of his shop by touch.

Kaféen vart riven nokre år seinare, men murane står framleis."
