    A new, additional restaurant, "The Orient II" opened in 1972, under the ownership of a Charles Tse [pronounced See]. Perhaps Mr. & Mrs. Peter Tse are his parents (a photo of Charles Tse is in the article below). Excerpts from the Palm Beach Post-Time, June 4, 1972:
    "The Orient II, an authentic Chinese restaurant, is scheduled to open this fall in the Palm Beaches. "Charles Tse, 28-year old former product manager with Solitron Devices and owner of the highly successful Orient Restaurant in Tequesta, will build the Orient II on Okeechobee Boulevard at Haverhill Road in the new Century Corners shopping center."

    If you go to the LOC website, you can get a hi-res version of the pic that allows a closer look at some of the details otherwise invisible on Flickr. There's a street sign that clearly places this at Columbus Circle and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan. There's also a Child's Restaurant (a pioneering chain restaurant) and a Cadillac showroom.

I think the car more than "vaguely resembles" a 1915 Cadillac - I would say a definite "yes", when compared to this - www.motorera.com/cadillac/cad1910/1915/1915cad.jpg , from www.motorera.com/cadillac/cad1910/cad15s.htm I have had this photo as my desktop background for a month or so, hoping for a flash of inspiration about the oval, playground swings and houses in the background. It's a terrific photo!

Strangely, most photos of contemporary Cadillacs show 10-spoke wheels at the front, with 12-spoke wheels at the rear. Not apparent in our photo, which bugs me!
