This appears to the be the Burgess Model I flying boat (not to be confused with the Burgess Model I Scout) built for Robert J. Collier. Famed aviator Frank Coffyn tested the aircraft for Collier at Marblehead, Massachusetts (dating the photo to July/August 1913). The engine is a 220 horsepower Anzani 20 radial engine, an immensely powerful engine for the era featuring two 10-cylinder rows. In fact, this particular engine (visible just behind Coffyn) may be the very first of its type built and sold by Italian motor manufacturer Anzani. www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/view/1913/1913%20-%200722...
