The corner shop at left was said to be "nearing completion" in 1909 in the Westmeath Independent, according to the NIAH

As can be seen at the OS map link, this is Church Street further along, but the near end is Custume Place, formerly Victoria Place. Several of the shop owners can be found in the 1911 census: e.g Campbell, Farrelly, Fleming's Medical Hall is on Church St. proper.

Charles Fair, Solicitor, has a first floor office at left.

The Burgess Model H was an early United States airplane and one of the first air machines specifically designed and built for military use.
