    There were horse drawn trams in Belfast from 1872 to 1905. The pillars on the right are the 1867 Ewart's Warehouse

    I vote for 1886 - Before sailing for home, Mr. [Henry] George was induced to lecture in Liverpool and also to cross the Irish Sea and address a North of Ireland audience at Belfast, the capital of Ulster. Both gatherings were large, the latter, filling Ulster Hall, numbering between four and five thousand people. Enthusiasm in both cities was very great.
