The bride's mother was noted as Mrs. Warren Morgan. This photo has a written date in February 1927 and could be an engagement photo. It seems likely to be the right person. Death notice in NYT: Paid Notice: Deaths WALLACE, GERTRUDE DE LANCEY. Published: September 4, 1998 WALLACE-Gertrude de Lancey. Mother of Peter de L. and Helen W. Wallace, grandmother of Campbell Lloyd-, Peter Woodbridge, and Cornelia S. Wallace, died at home on September 1. Funeral service will be at St. Bartholomew's chapel, 50th Street & Park Avenue Friday, September 4, at 10:30 AM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Animal Medical Center, 510 East 62nd Street, New York, N.Y. 10021. New-York Tribune, December 17, 1922, Image 43 Column 1 mentions that Gertrude de Lancey Watts has just returned from 3 years of school in Europe and is making her debut. Mrs. Townsend Morgan is given as the name of her mother.

    Excellent photo! Love the colors. It blows my mind how this photo survived with great colors! I enjoy the color match of her lipstick and the pen in her hand. I also like the history..how people dressed back then and actually "dolled" up for work like this woman in the 40's.
