The bride's mother was noted as Mrs. Warren Morgan. This photo has a written date in February 1927 and could be an engagement photo. It seems likely to be the right person. She can't be painting the insignia free-hand. Either the photo is staged, or she's just touching up the edges. Her arms are resting on the painted surface, so it must be dry. Bad form, resting a paint can on a fabric-covered wing.
