  There are also a couple of mentions on some pages seemingly made available by the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are? magazine. From the format and file paths, I think that they are taken from something like the Army List of 1916 and 1917. They both say that he achieved seniority as a 2nd Lieutenant on the 3rd April 1915, the second one adds that he was/is employed by the Ministry of Munitions: *Brett, W.H. (empld.
