    B-17F serial 42-5309 never made it overseas. She was with the 532nd Bomb Squadron, 381st BG at Pyote AB, TX in April '43. Later she was transferred to Biggs Field in El Paso, where she served with the 235th Combat Crew Training Squadron.

    My grandfather was an MP in 1127th that guarded Maj Gen Wolfe from Jan 46-Jan 47 in Nagoya. I'd be interested in talking to anyone that was there/may have known him or may have heard stories from their parents/grandparents/etc. I have a few old photos from the time there as well.
