    Thanks for that suggestion, John. We thought it looked a lot like the road that loops round to the Akuna Bay marina but we haven't been able to find any other images to compare it with. The other question is about the boats in the image. Again, we haven't had much luck identifying them.

    Concur with previous comment. Reverse the photo and the name is clear. A similar picture (with the correct view!) is here: tugster.wordpress.com/2018/01/17/relief-crew-20-sir-walte... The steamer was launched in 1899 and is still in service.
