And on Amazon, that's probably not an original, it's probably being sold by a person who has downloaded the high resolution image at the LOC and then prints to order. There's plenty of people piggy-backing their vintage photo sales operations on the images from the Library of Congress.

Looks like an early machine for the transmission of photographs over via radio wave transmission. I recently saw a similar machine (not by Bermocchi) in the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, Australia. I can't find any online references to Bermocchi at the moment.
