Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Photografica, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

wonderful sharp prints! This shows the better-off Dutch sniffing some salt sea-air. It's not about sitting in the sun - having a white complexion showed you did'nt belong to the working class.

great wicker beach chairs - so glad the LOC has preserved shots like this one

I remember the beach chairs - they were on all the beaches in holland into the early sixties... such nice hideways for the child I was!

The bath cars or beach baskets are actually beach seats. In the pictures you only see single ones. There are in fact also double ones. They are quite cosy, quiet, simply great.
