I've been reading X-rays for 30 years and I have to say this image has been retouched big-time--e.g., ribs drawn in and the bullet outlined.

The bitumen hardens and becomes resistant to normal solvents in proportion to the light. The coating is then washed in turpentine solutions, removing the unhardened bitumen. It is then retouched in the tonal scale of the chosen color to strengthen or soften the tones as required. I think this should be "Llanycil Church". It's about half a mile southwest of Bala on the main road along the lake shore.
