According to www.dodgeglobe.com/article/20120323/NEWS/303239848 the site of the Shangri-La motel was a Kentucky Fried Chicken by 2012.

800 Rose St La Crosse, WI 54603 The building was home to Buzz's Bikes over most of the years that the Streetview cameras have rolled by. The building was for sale in 2015 and 2016. In 2023, the exterior looks well preserved.
