It is definitely from a lower angle, so it's quite likely he was at the level of the bottom of the lighthouse. I'll have a look sometime through my castlepoint shots and see if I can find a similar angle. All else fails, I'll just have to try to duplicate it next time I'm out there. LOL. :)

Thanks Brenda! I read (in that vague, somewhere, some-time-ago kind of way) that scientists were studying paintings of sunsets to measure air pollution over time. Photos like these make such interesting comparisons. -- Courtney
