Hi, I'm an admin for a group called artland, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

I'm fairly certain that the fish is not a Bonita. It looks to me like it could be a Yellowtail.

Thanks for the contribution, samuelito5277, and thanks for visiting the Florida Memory photostream. The historical record has been changed to reflect the new information. After additional research, we determined that the fish is indeed not a Bonito. It is probably a Greater Amberjack, a species related to the Yellowtail, but found in the Atlantic.

Yes, I forgot that Yellowtail weren't an Atlantic fish. Thanks for changing it! This photostream is fantastic. Definitely worth more than a quick click through...
Peace and tranquillity for a spot of fishing? Tight lines everyone!

The lads look more fishermen rather than anglers to me. There is not a rod in sight. I would suspect that from their positioning, there may be a line or a net somewhere between them. Angling at that time was not a pastime of the common man. If he did eat poached salmon, it was more than likely the second time it was poached!!

Anyone found this on Google Maps? What is that rectangular thing on the shore - a glass plate case?
