That is the small building which is currently mostly hidden by the Macy's Department Store sign on or about the day it was finally sold for a then record $1,000,000.00. See the Real Estate Field section of the 7 Dec 1911 New York Times at the link below: query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9405E0DB1E31E233A... A May 2008 photo of this corner can be seen at the link below: cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/05/21/way-no-way-a-reques... A photo from another angle can be seen at this link: www.earthdocumentary.com/new-york-city/macys-01.jpg

Looks like it's at latitude 42.085962N, longitude 71.023417W eg maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=en&geocode=&time=... judging by the satellite photo, that building is still there.

It is still there. However the Building that photo was taken from is no longer there. It is a parking lot. Still a store in that spot too.

Check it out in MSN live maps Warren Ave and Pleasant. Enter "warren avenue and pleasent st, brockton, ma" into the MSN live maps, go to the birdseye view and you can see a nice shot of the building. It is the one on the right...
