This is Alamo Plaza in San Antonio, Texas. The Alamo itself is just to the left of the center of the photo. The park to the upper left still exists. The courtyard just to the right of center with the star in the center contained the soldiers barracks to the upper right. This area is heavily grown up with oak trees now.
